Escaping again

I'm baaaackkkkkk!    I've got a lot to share about where I've been and what I've been doing the last 18 months, but for right now I needed a place to express my frustrations, and I didn't really want to share them with my friends on that social networking site that has consumed so much of my time lately. 

So here we go:  

Rant warning!  Slightly political message warning!  Sleep-deprived blogger warning!  Read at your own risk!

I'm trying to look on the bright side of all the Super-PAC political garbage (multiple parties, multiple candidates) that is filling my mailbox these days - at least it is generating employment for printers, paper manufacturers, and letter carriers.   After all, I've got almost six more weeks of this to get through.  I've switched over to XM radio (music only) in the car, and I don't watch live TV.  Tivo and Sirius thank me for my business and I thank them for allowing me to pay to opt out of political commercial season.    

The DVD I got today just about pushed me over the edge.  Imagine how much good local charitable organizations could do if they had the money spent on this piece of garbage?  Or any of the other five only slightly less annoying pieces of garbage that arrived this week so far?
